Essex Prov.G.M. reaches for the skies
It was a glorious sunny start to the day on Sunday 28 May for our Provincial Grand Master's Wing Walk in aid of Essex MBF Festival 2023.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the wing walk took place at Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent.
The Prov.G.M accompanied by members of his family, having ensured all passports were in order ready for the trip over the river into Kent, made their way south.
The Prov.G.M was followed by a large contingent of Essex Mark Men who came along to support him in this fantastic event.
Terry passed his weigh in and then proceeded to take part in the safety briefing.
He then posed for several photos with his well-wishers.

Terry can be seen here wearing his flying gear, donated by a member of the Province, unfortunately he wasn't allowed to wear it during his wing walk .
After an interview with the media team, it was time to fly.
Terry looked very comfortable once he had mounted the plane, and he took off too much applause from onlookers.
Before he knew it, it was back on terra firma, where he was greeted by everyone.
After many congratulations, he reunited with his family, having thanked everyone for supporting him, and had now intended to have a large meal and several beers.
