Hadrian's Wall Charity Walk
8 - 15 June 2024

W.Bro. David Lambert will be walking the entire length of Hadrian's Wall in June this year to raise money for the 2030 Festival.
He is planning on visiting several Roman forts en-route so will end up walking over 100 miles.
David will be walking the Wall from West to East (by the Proper Steps).
His itinerary is as follows :-
  • Saturday 8 June - Travelling to Carlisle.
  • Sunday 9 June - Start the walk at Bowness-on-Solway to Carlisle.
  • Monday 10 June - Carlisle to Banks.
  • Tuesday 11 June - Banks to Once Brewed.
  • Wednesday 12 June - Once Brewed to Steel Rig, then on to Chollerford (this leg has a 2,000ft climb).
  • Thursday 13 June - Chollerford to Hendon-on-the-Wall.
  • Friday 14 June - Heddon-on-the-Wall to Wallsend (and a well deserved night out in Newcastle to follow!).
  • Saturday 15 June - Travel home.
