Resignation and Relocation Guide
It is not unusual to find that, as we go through our Masonic journey, members will occasionally find it necessary to resign from a Lodge.
At the same time, if a member relocates or prefers to meet during daylight hours, he may wish to resign from one Lodge but not be aware of other units that may be more suitable.
We at Essex Mark are looking to help with this and have a Relocation Officer who is there to offer assistance to any Brother who may be looking for change.
The process is being administered by the Provincial Secretary, W. Bro. Rob Sandy (whose contact details are in the members section), who will assist if requested in supplying details to enable a smooth uninterrupted transition to a new Mark and/or Royal Ark Mariner Lodge.
When a Lodge secretary becomes aware of any concerns, proposed resignations or extended absences, he should contact the "Relocation Officer" at the earliest stage to allow the process to be fully implemented.
This is a simple process and is designed to ensure that members are fully informed of their options and, where and if appropriate, receive whatever help they require.
If you have any questions or comments, the Provincial Secretary will be pleased to assist.
Available below is the new and comprehensive advice and process guide from Grand Lodge.
