Crowstone Charity Chinese Night- "Wok" a Success
The now famous annual Crowstone Chinese night took place again at its' now "traditional" venue of Zen City in Westcliff on Sea. It is not known who managed to eat the most but we are given to understand that stomachs were bulging by the end of the evening. Around 80 members, family and friends were in attendance, including members of the Mark Provincial Executive.
Thanks to some gentle persuasion, after various devious methods of collecting extra monies over and above the profits from ticket sales a magnificent sum of £850 was presented to the PGM, R.W.Bro. Terry Sheern by Paul Thurgood of Crowstone mark Lodge a as a donation to the Essex Mark Welfare Fund - local money raised to support local people.
Without doubt there will be another evening next year!

Now, am I alone in thinking that the PGM seems to have a halo and Paul a pair of horns?? Food for thought???
