"The Stone is Found"
Well, if not actually the stone being found, we do, at least, now know who the Prov. G.S.W. and Prov. G.J.W. are, as well as the Prov.G.M.'s nomination for Grand Steward is. But more of that later!
This years’ mess was held for a second time at the Hutton Masonic Centre, who hosted just under ninety Grand and Prov. Grand officers, past and present, from all four corners of our Province, in the relaxed and enjoyable setting of their banqueting suite.
The Mess was, of course, hosted by the current Prov.G.J.W., W.Bro. Robin Morley and in fine form. All the members of the Executive present, accompanied by Prov.D.Cs., took part in the traditional “round robin” on all the tables and chatted informally to everyone, making for a very relaxed, fun and informative evening.
The splendid meal finished (accompanied with more than sufficient wine served by no less than four Grand Stewards. as well as the other “volunteers”) the formalities commenced.
Last year’s President, W. Bro. Norman Eastbrook proposed the toast to the current one. The reply from W. Bro. Morley can be read in the link below; it was somewhat different from previous addresses to the Provincial Grand Master. The Provincial Grand Masters' reply can also be read below.

So, back to where we began then! The Prov.G.M then went on to inform those present of his choices for Wardens for the ensuing. year.
Senior Warden: W. Bro. Rob Sandy, of The Beaconsfield Lodge of Mark Masters, No.205
Junior Warden: W. Bro. Geoff Waddoups, of The Mark of Love and Remembrance, No.1718
His nomination for Grand Steward: W. Bro. Clive Snell, of The Tuscan Pillar Lodge, No. 1142
All these nominations met with satisfaction and acclamation by all present.
