This is an Annual event which takes place where all Grand and Provincial Grand Officers, past and present, are eligible to attend. The Acting Provincial Grand Junior Warden presides as the Mess President and the Mess is a less formal evening than a traditional Festive Board, although the dress code is still jacket and tie.
The evening consists of pre-dinner drinks, followed by a four course meal, wine takings and a short address by the President with a response from myself which includes the announcement of who will be next appointed as Provincial Grand Senior and Junior Wardens as well as our nomination for Grand Steward.
These events are an opportunity not just to socialise with Brethren from around the Province in a relaxed friendly environment, but also an informal occasion where Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Provincial Officers can get together to meet new friends and reaffirm old friendships.
