Brethren,
Many Masonic units and orders hold Remembrance services usually in conjunction with civic services. However, I thought it only right that Province of our size and stature, and particularly as we have an Armed Services lodge, and a lodge formed in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, the Mark of Love and Remembrance, that we should give not only the members of those lodges but all of our members the opportunity to carry out the act of remembrance in the fraternal unity of Mark Masonry, under the banner of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Essex.
In conjunction with the Essex Armed Forces Lodge of Mark Master Masons we intend to hold our inaugural remembrance service at the St John the Evangelist Church Ford End Chelmsford on the 11th of November this year. I cordially invite you all to attend and ask that you confirm your attendance with W. Bro Ray McKerron, all details are on the attached poster.
There is no church service involved, the whole service will be conducted by members of the Province.
Brethren, I do hope that you can attend to join us in this special service of remembrance.
