Dear Brother Mark Master Mason,
The Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Essex is to be held once again this year on Thursday 28 May 2026 at The Chelmsford City Racecourse, Chelmsford, Essex. CM3 1QP. Provincial Grand Lodge is where the business of the Province is carried out, along with the Investiture of our new acting Provincial Officers, first appointments to Office, and promotions within Provincial Grand Lodge. The day starts with refreshments at 9.00am. The meeting commences at 12.00pm, followed by a superb lunch at 2.30pm. As your Provincial Grand Master, I am keen to ensure as many Essex Mark Men as possible can attend the meeting and I therefore wish to extend my personal invitation to you. I would be very pleased to have your company on the day. For clarity all Mark Master Masons subscribing to an Essex Lodge are entitled and are positively encouraged to attend, you do not have to be a Grand Officer, a Provincial Grand Officer, Master, or Past Master to attend. |

You may attend the meeting at no cost and not dine, that is your choice and whatever you choose I will be very pleased to see you attend. There is ample parking on site, and assistance for those less mobile brethren.
If you attend you will be present to congratulate your fellow Brethren, receiving honours on the day. I know the presence of friends and fellow Brethren adds so much to their day and reiterates one of the important tenets of our degree, brotherly love and reinforces our proud boast, that we are the friendly degree.
To those Mark Master Masons who are new to the Degree, you are particularly encouraged to attend. You will have plenty of opportunities to make new friends, meet and speak to senior members of the province and enjoy the spectacle of the day.
At the bottom of this page is a link to the online booking form, I urge you to complete it as soon as you can. Links to the order of proceedings and other useful documents will also be added in the near future.

We advise entering Chelmsford City Racecourse into Google Maps as the postcode is not compatible with some Sat Navs. The racecourse is approximately a 20 minute drive in a taxi from Chelmsford railway station and 10 minutes from Braintree railway station. |
